The Challenge: Standing Out
Aurum Agency aims for high-ticket clients. Their previous website was built on a generic template that felt cheap and sluggish. It didn't communicate the "premium" feel their brand required.
They needed a site that was not only fast but felt "hand-crafted" in every pixel.
The Strategy
We ditched heavy frameworks in favor of a lean, utility-first approach using TailwindCSS.
1. Design System First
Before writing a single line of HTML, I established a strict design system for typography, spacing, and colors. This ensured consistency across every page.
2. Zero-Runtime CSS
By using Tailwind, we generated a CSS file that only contained the styles we actually used. The final CSS bundle size was under 10kb (gzipped).
The Execution
This code snippet demonstrates the clean, semantic markup used. Interactive elements were enhanced with micro-interactions that feel "expensive" to the user, like smooth hover states and parallax scrolling.
The Results
The new site launched with a 98/100 performance score on mobile. The "hand-crafted" feel resonated with their target audience, leading to a 200% increase in organic inquiries in the first month.
